THE LADY WITH THE LAMP.
Firstly Florence and her nurses cleaned the floors. Secondly they cleaned the hospital. Thirdly they washed the sheets. After that they helped the patients. Next Florence made sure that the sick soldiers got healthy food and clean water. Finally the soldiers started to get better.

Baking with Bossy Verbs

 Equipment

• Mixing bowl
• Wooden spoon
• Sieve
• Tablespoon
• Dessert spoon
• Small bowl
• Bun cases
• Whisk

Ingredients

• 125g Butter
• 125g Caster sugar
• 125g Self raising flour
• 2 Eggs
• 2 tablespoons milk

To decorate your buns you could use

• Chocolate spread
• Ready to roll icing (in different colours)
• Icing pens
• Sprinkles
• Chocolate drops
• Rolling pin, knife and cookie cutter for decorating the buns

How to make my buns

1. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees
2. Use a wooden spoon to cream the butter and sugar
3. Beat two eggs in a bowl
4. Add the eggs a little at a time
5. Sift the flour into the bowl and fold in using a tablespoon
6. Mix in the milk a bit at a time
7. Stir until the mixture is smooth
8. Spoon the mixture into the bun cases
9. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes
10. Take the buns out and leave to cool 

  To decorate

11.  Spread a bit of chocolate sauce on the buns

12. Roll the icing out until it is about 1/2 cm thick

13. Cut circles out of the icing using and stick the icing to the top of the buns

14. Decorate with sprinkles, icing pens and chocolate

This is me and a lady from Seven Stories who helped me make a dragon. My dragon is colourful and I called her Freckle.

He has terrible tusks and terrible claws and terrible teeth in terrible jaws

Seven Stories was super. We bought lots of new books. I had a wonderful time.

Friday 2nd November

School Club

In school club we coloured in some pictures and we made some biscuits with chocolate and sprinkles on. We also made some chocolate apples and they were delicious.

After school club we set off to Scarborough to stay in a caravan.

Thursday 1st November

Esholt Farm

Today we went to a farm. We went with Eve, Darren, Jess, Tilly, Milly, Tallulah and Tilly. we went to see a little goat and 2 horses. we fed the animals.

This is me with the hamsters and a horse trying to eat Tilly's bottom.

This is the pub. It is called The Woolpack. It is on telly.

Tuesday 30th October

Tilly's Birthday Halloween Party

We had Tillys party at polkadots. We had a halloween party and  everyone dressed up in scary costumes.
Everyone had a super time climbing around the play area and making frightening buns with teeth and blood. Tilly had a ginormous pumpkin cake. It was super!

Sunday 28th October

A Trip to the Toy Shop

On Sunday we went to a toy shop to buy toys with Tilly's birthday money. The toy shop is ginormous and a little bit busy. We saw lots of toys like Zoobles and dolls.

Me and Tilly Hooten bought Zoobles. The Zoobles are magnetic. That means they stick to metal.

Tilly Two Shoes bought a pink pushchair that you can fit two dollies in.

It was amazing.

Saturday 27th October 2012

Tilly's Birthday

We went to dance class and we were wearing our pyjamas to get money to help poorly people. This is a picture of us in our pyjamas in our class.

Then we went to Frankie & Bennys to have some birthday dinner and sing happy birthday to Tilly. We had wraps with vegetables, cheese, tomotoes and cucumber. It was scrumptious. We heard a loud song and the lights turned off and the ladies brought a cake and everyone sang Happy Birthday to my sister. They put the cake on the table so that Tilly Two Shoes could blow the candles out. It was fantastic.

Then we went to the cinema to watch Hotel Transylvania. It is about a little baby monster girl who is 118 and she is sad because she wants to go outside but her Daddy tells her that it is dangerous and humans will hurt her. A human boy comes to her hotel and he loves her. It was exciting.
